Accessibility Statement
Effective date: June 6, 2026 · Last updated: June 6, 2026
Targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance. ADA Title III compliant.
1. Our commitment
Solia Wall is committed to making the experience of remembering — the website, the digital wall, the account dashboard, and our customer service — accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.
2. Conformance status
We design and develop with the goal of conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 Level AA defines a set of requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities.
We perform internal accessibility audits regularly and engage third-party auditors annually.
3. What we do
- Keyboard navigation: all interactive elements are operable by keyboard alone
- Screen reader support: we use semantic HTML, ARIA labels where appropriate, and we test with NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver
- Color contrast: body text meets WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1) and large text meets 3:1
- Resizable text: the site is usable up to 200% zoom without loss of content or functionality
- Alternative text: all meaningful images carry alt text; decorative images are marked as decorative
- Captions: the video on our landing page includes burned-in captions; the script is also available as readable HTML
- Form labels: all form fields have visible labels and associated error messages
- Focus indicators: visible focus rings on all interactive elements
- Text-to-speech for the memorial wall: our optional TTS feature reads written tributes aloud for visually-impaired visitors
4. Known limitations
We are actively working to improve the following areas:
- Some legacy customer-uploaded photos may lack alternative text — we are adding an auto-prompt at upload time to encourage description
- The cookie banner is being upgraded to fully support keyboard navigation in all browsers
- PDF documents linked from the site may not be fully accessible; we are converting to HTML alternatives
5. Feedback and contact
If you encounter accessibility barriers on our site or in the digital wall, please tell us:
Email: support@soliawall.com
Phone: +1 (217) 796-2316 (TRS supported)
Mail: Solia Wall — Accessibility Officer, Blanc Steeze LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 1 business day and to remediate where reasonably possible within 30 days. Where remediation requires more time, we will keep you informed and offer alternative means of accessing the content or service you are trying to reach.
6. Compatibility
Solia Wall is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
- Recent versions of NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack screen readers
- Browser zoom up to 200%
- Keyboard-only navigation
- Voice control (Apple Voice Control, Windows Speech Recognition, Dragon NaturallySpeaking)
The site supports the most recent two versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.
7. Formal complaints
If you believe Solia Wall has failed to provide accessible service in a particular instance, you may file a formal complaint at support@soliawall.com with the subject line "Accessibility Complaint." We will acknowledge within 2 business days and respond in writing within 14 calendar days.
